Communications + PR Experience
Gayle Gaviola Moreau is an author and communications strategist with 15 years of experience advising and telling stories for iconic entertainment, technology, and lifestyle brands.
Her background includes in-house communications roles at Spotify; Paramount’s MTV, Nickelodeon, and Awesomeness Studios; and agency representation for brands like Facebook, VH1 Save The Music, Bravo, Vimeo, and Shazam. In these roles, she’s done everything from thought leadership development, ghostwriting, and full-scale communications strategies to campaign launches, media and influencer relations, event and red carpet management, and coaching executive leadership.
Before starting her own communications consulting business, Gayle led creator communications for Spotify’s podcast business. Prior to Spotify, she spent six years at Paramount in a variety of roles. Her Paramount tenure included leading brand and creator PR for Awesomeness’ Gen Z scripted and digital studios (makers of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, PEN15, Noah Beck Tries Things), as well as overseeing communications for MTV and Nickelodeon outside of the U.S., where she also ran international publicity strategy for the MTV Europe Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
A passionate advocate for Asian American representation in media, Gayle also co-chaired Paramount’s AAPI employee resource group, AMP, where she co-developed and produced AAPI community events and initiatives for employees. From 2016-2022, Gayle also served as Paramount Global’s employee Q&A moderator for “Bob Live,” CEO Bob Bakish’s quarterly global town halls.
Before Paramount, Gayle worked at several top PR agencies managing campaigns for talent and brands including Ryan Leslie, Spotify, Facebook, Bravo, Lenovo, and VH1 Save The Music.
Gayle’s passion for storytelling extends to her personal life – she’s an agented author with her first young adult novel currently on submission. Her writing has been featured in My Life: Growing Up Asian in America, published by MTV Books and Simon & Schuster in 2022.
Based in Los Angeles, Gayle is a culinary school dropout who graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
